SHOPS 1ST TRY is an on snow test event exclusively for snowboard retailers. The focus is on retailers from Germany and Austria. Retailers from other European countries are also very welcome.

Goal of the event is to give buyers and shop owners an opportunity to test and compare products of the 2016/17 season before they order.

The whole event is based on the initiative of the leading snowboard brands, the EUROSIMA Snow Division (European Surf Industry Manufactures Association) and the board sport business magazine SOURCE. And behold ... more than 50 brands got together to provide for full range testing at the gathering of the SHOPS 1ST TRY league.

What benefits does SHOPS 1ST TRY give me as a snowboard retailer?

  • Cost savings – lift pass, meals and general program free of charge* for you and one other person (ATTENTION! Accommodation is not inclusive. You can do the booking during the online registration)
  • Time savings – travel once to test more than 50 brands at the same date
  • Accessibility – car (15 minutes away from the freeway exit Kramsach/ Rattenberg/ Brixlegg) and plane (airport IBK or MUC)
  • Flexibility – choose two out of three days between Sunday, 2017-01-22 and Tuesday, 2017-01-24, according to your own schedule
  • Competitive advantage – when other retailers see the new gear for the first time, you have already ridden it!

 

Who can attend the SHOPS 1ST TRY?

Basically all snowboard retailers are welcome. Shop owners and buyers from European countries can attend free of charge*, as they are invited by the snowboard industry. Retailers from other countries can register for exclusive deals at their own costs. On top of that, the major European and German snowboard media will be invited as well.

 

How do I register for SHOPS 1ST TRY?

Retailers from European countries:
As an invited retailer, just enter the code on the invitation you got from your rep in person oder via snail mail on the registration page and fill out the form. If you haven’t received an invite yet, ask your rep of one of the participating brands.

Retailers from other countries:
Easily type in the code, which you can request from one of your suppliers, on the registration page and click through the registration process. Lift pass, dinner and accommodation can be booked and payed there directly.

Industry partners:
You will receive a special code for your brand from the SHOPS 1ST TRY contact person in your headquarter. After entering this code on the registration page just fill in the required data.

All other interested parties (industry reps from not-participating brands, special guests, etc...) have to file an application to gain access.

 

What's the deadline for registration for the SHOPS 1ST TRY?

Registration is open until Friday, 2016-11-25.

 

When is SHOPS 1ST TRY happening?

From Sunday, 2017-01-22 until Tuesday, 2017-01-24. As snowboard retailer you can choose, on which days you'd like to attend the event.

What does it cost to enter the SHOPS 1ST TRY?

The snowboard industry is bearing the costs for two people* per shop (incl. event pass, lift ticket for two days each, entrance for the exhibition dinner each as well as side program). Spots for additional shop employees can be booked at own costs (maximum four people per shop in total). Unfortunately snowboard retailers from non-European countries can’t benefit from the free spots but can register at their own costs as well.

 

Where do I get my event pass, lift ticket or info on accommodation?

After you have successfully registered you will automatically receive an email with all vital information.

Accommodation informations will be sent out around two weeks prior to the event.
